We are gearing up for the 2nd Annual Behind the Business Conference – East produced by The Vine Wine Club scheduled to take place Saturday, February 10, 2018 in Richmond, Virginia. More details to come but mark your calendar to be inspired and energized to start or grow your business in the specialty gourmet food and beverage, wine/beer/spirits and restaurant industries.
The theme for next year’s regional and national conferences is Who’s Got Next? which will focus on finding up and coming talent among small business owners who have a passion for what they do. If you are a chef or home cook, mixologist or novice libation creator, we have some fun opportunities for you.
Join The Vine Wine Club as they host a series of competitions called Who’s Got Next-RVA to look for next local top chef and mixologist. Final winners will join attendees at Cuisine Noir’s national Behind the Business Conference in San Francisco in June 2018. Prize will include full conference registration, airfare, hotel accommodations and a feature in Cuisine Noir.
Each category (mixology and chef) will have 3 semifinal rounds with the winner from each round competing in February during championship round. The grand prize winners from each category will be announced on February 10 at the Behind the Business East Conference at the Dominion Arts Center.
Criteria to Enter:
- Must be at least 21 (mixology)
- Must not have received any national awards for cooking or mixology
- $25 entry fee
- Registration ends August 31, 2017.
