The mobile provider’s in-store events feature a variety of diverse trailblazers re-defining success in a modern digital world.
The T-Mobile store located at Stockton and Ellis in San Francisco is set to end its “Signature Series” on a musical note as it hosts producer, songwriter and author Jermaine Dupri at its Signature Store on Wednesday, December 5 from 6 – 8 p.m
Free to attend and expected to be a full house, the event is the finale for 2018 after a series of events aimed at hosting live interviews with emerging music talent and trailblazing entrepreneurs who are owning the modern digital world by making it their own.
Previous events have featured innovators in gaming and esports industry as well as tastemakers and influencers in food and beverage. This past September, the store hosted Oakland’s very own chef Tanya Holland (Brown Sugar Kitchen) along with bartender Diane Mina (wife of famed chef and restauranteur Michael Mina) who runs Diana’s Bloody Mary Bar daily at Mina’s Test Kitchen and John Truchard, co-founder of JaM Cellars (makers of the award-winning BUTTER chardonnay). The panel was hosted by the Foodie Chap himself, Liam Mayclem, who brought to light the struggles experienced by all three successful entrepreneurs as they build their empires and legacies; many that the majority of people never see behind the scenes.
Sharing key nuggets of wisdom with the audience, Holland said, “Trailblazing is not about being fearless. It’s acknowledging the fear and blazing through.” Mina noted that in spite of her husband success, “There are no shortcuts to achieving your dreams. It takes a lot of work.” And Truchard didn’t know that putting his wine in a can would be a life-changing move and shared, “When you start something new, start small. If it works well, let it grow. When it grows, let it soar.”
Having worked hard to establish a prolific career in the music industry that continues to change, the interview with Dupri will be one not to miss. The interview will be followed by a DJ Set by Dupri.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and seating is limited and it is advised to get there early. The T-Mobile Signature Store is located at 1 Stockton Street. For a virtual store tour, click here.
