The typical consumer today uses two or more technologies to choose where to eat and shop. Recent studies show that 1 in 4 consumers currently have at least one restaurant-specific mobile app on their smartphone. And among people who dine out 8 to 10 times per week, more than two-thirds use a restaurant specific mobile app.
